Reading CS Lewis

he prospective member should at least express interest in reading one of C.S. Lewis’ works. This will enable the member to actively participate in the group’s discussions. While stage or movie interpretations of Lewis’ work are great starting points for discussion, C.S. Lewis is still best appreciated via his writing, either read, or listened to in audiobook format.

Filipino Residency

he group was created for Filipinos, but welcomes anyone with close ties to the Philippines. To be a member, you must either be a natural Filipino, a Filipino living in another country, or a non- Filipino who has resided in the country for at least a year.

Filipino Narnians Mailing List Membership

he mailing list is at the heart of what TPON is – a venue for discussion and a way to build community. The prospective member must be a member of the FilipinoNarnians mailing list – moderators will look for your email address in the list of group members. By the way, mailing list membership is independent of organizational membership – you can be part of the list without being part of the organization. Becoming a mailing list member is easy enough. Just go to our mailing list and follow the instructions for applying for membership. Anybody banned from the mailing list is automatically disqualified from applying for membership.

The Group is for C.S.Lewis Enthusiasts

hile the group respects individual opinion and healthy disagreement, please remember that this is a group for C.S. Lewis enthusiasts. If you’re a rabid Lewis critic, please know that this is not the place for picking fights and starting arguments. Thoughtful debates are actually quite welcome, but unwarranted quarrelling will not be tolerated.

Membership Fees

o become a formal member of the Philippine Order of Narnians, one must pay either an annual or lifetime membership fee. Proceedings help pay for such activities as summons, conventions, etc., and defray expenses incurred by the group (membership kits, etc). If you’re part of a family with three or more members joining the group, there’s a family membership option, with slightly lower membership costs per family member.
