Dear Filipino Friends of Narnia,

I am so glad to hear that there is now an Order of Narnians in one of my favorite places in the world. Ever since my dear friends at Trumpets Theatre Company mounted their wonderful production of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and I visited your lovely land for the first time, I have loved the Philippines. So much so in fact that after that first visit I went home and got my wife Merrie and brought her back to meet everybody.

This is an exciting year for friends of Narnia because we are, right now as I type, working very hard to finish the first ever full feature Narnia movie, and it should open in the Philippines on January 18th, 2006 so keep a look out for it.

There are now C.S. Lewis Societies and Friends of Narnia in many countries of the world. Narnia just keeps on getting bigger and better as we all go further up and further in. As you meet and celebrate the wonders of Narnia, stay true to all that Aslan stands for and be good to one another.
